Joey Fatone Sports Bunny Slippers on Red Carpet
American singing personality Joey Fatone, along with Lisa Rinna, hosted the Red Carpet interviews held before the 2008 Oscars. In this Red Carpet clip you'll see Fatone play footsie wearing Fatone's signature Bunny slippers. The two replaced Joan and Melissa Rivers as the hosts of TV Guide's red carpet pre-shows for the Oscars. Fatone, known most recently for his appearance on Dancing with the Stars and his hosting of the Singing Bee, made his name singing baritone in the boy band N'SYNC during the late 1990's. During his stint on Dancing with the Stars, he first associated himself with Bunny slippers. He wore Bunny slippers on-air twice during the season. Once he wore them in an at home interview by his pool. The other time he was seen in them was back stage at Dancing for the Stars. On each occasion, the interviewer asked him about the Bunny Slippers and they showed a close-up picture of his feet in the shoes. On the most recent Oscar event, his female companion just said they were "for comfort." The company that sells these to the public is Barefoot Parties through their network of consultants. Fatone, wittingly or unwittingly, has become a "footperson" for the comfortable yet animated Bunny Slippers.
