What is Intelligence?
Just what is intelligence? Is your definition different from mine? With the knowledge of the world converging, our definitions may be extremely different depending on what we are looking for at that moment. After all, the internet is giving each of us instant gratification. Intelligence can be encyclopedic where all pertinent facts are clearly written for the reader so they can understand the big picture as well as several smaller branches of it. That takes a good deal of time to write and research. However, the beauty of 'intelligence' is that it can be written for many levels of comprehension. Sometimes, only the barest beginning of a topic is necessary. Call it Learning 101 perhaps. It may be just enough for someone to get a glimpse or introduction of a topic. You may know all about wines, but is that what Joe Muganuts is looking for? Intelligence is really information in various forms. For you to like the intelligence will qualify not how much you know rather how much you want to know about a specific topic at that given time. Personally, I love the brief overview with options to delve further. There are many sites on the web to get that from. Here are a few I found that you may find helpful and several, fascinating:

Each of us come to the computer looking for vastly different things. By using a site like Google you can easily type in any word you want and the incredible search engine will offer many suggestions for you to research. Before you judge works on this computer, no matter what corner of the earth you hail from, remember that your understanding what 'intel' (intelligence) might not be applicable to everyone. Try not to leave them out. |
